After the 2020 Speed Champions line up leaked back in August 2019, we've been speculating what 8 wide allows for better capturing the chracter of the models and even building sets that wouldn't really have been possible, or look acceptable at 6 wide (formula e air gaps, lamborghini's wide and angular stance - proportions.) Proportions and reality. Some notes about wheels - people think the wheels are off - it's potentially because the tyres are quite thick on most of the models the overlal tyre and wheel dimension is correct.
